13-year-old activist Egytpia Green led the first protests on the island of Miami Beach after the murder of George Floyd. She led weekly protests for over a year after his death.
Egyptia’s mother, Bridjette Green [right], said she typically opts to stay out of the spotlight but in support of her daugther’s efforts, she accompanied Egyptia to each protest and often stood in the front of the group with her daughter.
